When you are constantly online working to build up your business, it’s easy to forget about those people who don’t stay online all the time. Most of your Internet-based customers will be well versed in the customs of Internet interaction, which is probably why they are buying your products online, and more than likely also use the internet for everything from entertainment to communication and much more. On the other hand, many other people who could be buying from you remain online for only 10, maybe 20 minutes a day. You need to consider how it is that you will reach this market. One of the best ways to raise awareness of an internet venture offline is through direct mail.

No matter if you send out a quick note or a postcard, be sure to hand write the addresses. It has been proven that people are more apt to read mail that has a handwritten address. What could be more important than this fact is that your recipient will be impressed that you actually took the time to write out the address. It’s hard to find that these days. If you write out ten envelopes every day, you will reach your letter quantity total in only a week and a half; this is not so difficult as it first sounds, if you contemplate mailing one hundred letters. If your handwriting is hard to read, ask for the help of someone else.

Begin small and increase from there. Direct mail can be expensive. Each new year sees an increase in stamp prices. It is for this reason that you will want to have a targeted group of customers in mind, and you will want to send out a few dozen pieces of direct mail and see what happens. It’ll take a lot of trial and error to get to the responses you are looking for. Once that happens you can increase the size and scope of your mailings to include more recipients. If you keep at it, you might increase the direct mailing to hundreds per item. Naturally, you have to work up to that point. Even if your product is the best on the market, starting out with a huge direct mail campaign will be costly. Just try it out, and focus on what works.

Lets say you have a K Swiss Sneaker store online. Direct mail is one of the best ways to promote your online business, especially in a niche like K Swiss shoes. In your direct mailings a link to something cool, like this K Swiss commercial. It generates interest in the product and gets people to visit your site.

This will sound silly, but when you are putting together a smaller and very targeted direct mail campaign use real stamps. It will be tempting to let the automatic postage machines at the post office do the work for you, but putting real stamps on the envelopes yourself lends a personal touch to your direct mail that other marketers won’t have. In utilizing little details which demonstrate that a human being put in the necessary time to accomplish something personally, you will see that individuals do pay attention to little details like these. Personal-looking direct mail will have a much better shot at a response.

As with any business, the key to your success is searching through the different options available and choosing the best one for you. The beauty of direct mail is the ability to reach the people who would have otherwise been unreachable due to lack of Internet use or knowledge. There is a wide audience of people out there who do not use the internet regularly (or for very much). The easiest means of reaching out to those persons is via direct mail.

The power of article marketing cannot be denied. For being one of the most long term running marketing techniques, it still produces some amazing results when it’s done correctly. Even the newest inductees into article marketing quickly discover that the creation of effective articles can attract a highly targeted audience almost overnight after submission to a well-trafficked directory online. For anybody who’s looking for wide exposure, it’s perfect and it’s free!

If you’re writing good articles that are related to your subject, this will help in a couple ways: first of all, getting articles published in online directories and websites sets up those important relevant backlinks directly to your site. This improves your website’s position in the major search engines like Google, giving you organic traffic. I just discovered a new service that helps with this too. It’s called SEOLinkVine and it’s an awesome article syndication service. Just submit your spun articles and it will automatically build backlinks for you. Read this SEOLinkVine review for more info.

Secondly, people who read and like your articles will most definitely want to visit your site and find out more about you and your content. So there you’ve accomplished two things; you’ve created your brand and you’ve brought in traffic in the same swoop. This article explores the ways in which article marketing can benefit you the most, when used properly.

An ebook that is a compilation of your quality articles is a good marketing idea. Yes, you read that correctly! If you have compiled a series of well-written, accurate articles, why not gather them together into an ebook? You’ve certainly put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into writing your articles, so it’s only sensible to find a way to use them again in the future. The creation of your ebook should be fairly quick to accomplish and then can be distributed through your customer or subscriber list, blog, website or email lists. Don’t forget to give the distribution rights to the reader so that they can pass it on to their friends and family. It’s also a good idea to allow the reader to customize the ebook with his own links by making it brand-able. You can achieve some amazing results with ebooks, a successful viral marketing technique. It’s always fun to distribute free stuff, and if your ebook is exceptional everyone will want to read it. Make sure to specifically state to your readers that they are free to share the ebooks with their subscribers and visitors. Watch your traffic increase after you give readers the keys to promote the ebook.

Your aim with article marketing is to reach a big audience and go as far as you can. You can do this by creating and publishing a variety of different articles. For example, let’s say you want to use weight loss as the main topic for your niche audience. The interest shown by people could be a variety of sub-topics such as how to shed fat through aerobics, how to lose weight and build muscle, which health supplements aid in weight loss, which diet plans don’t work, etc. The potential variety is very large.

People are always looking for “what’s new” and you can provide it for them. You can provide a new piece of information with every article and be genuinely helpful to the people.

Last but not the least, keep yourself up to date with various ways to market your articles and improve your content. It’s essential that your articles provide useful information for readers, which in turn will bring in more sales and conversions. Rushing to publish articles that are not complete, or are not thoroughly investigated, will not benefit you at all. Adequately researched articles that provide content that your readers will find informative, is as important as making your articles easy to read. Article marketing is the simplest marketing techniques out there. Through article marketing you can establish a brand, tailor a niche for yourself, and best of all, it is free. No better way to gain exposure for your business than spread useful knowledge. And if you go with SEOLinkVine, make sure you claim your SEOLinkVine bonus.

I’m currently in the market for a premium Wordpress theme to purchase. I’m already a big fan of Thesis theme and I use it all the time to create review type sites and blogs. However, this time I am looking for a more affiliate marketing related wordpress theme. I’ve done some research, and I’ve found two that look interesting, Affiliate Theme and Squeeze Theme. They are both created by Unique Blog Designs, who are the same guys who designed the theme for JohnChow.com.

I’ve been trying to get into email marketing, so Squeeze Theme actually seems pretty intriguing. It looks like you can create squeeze pages with it fairly easily. I also saw this pretty cool Squeeze Theme bonus, which I think I’ll take advantage of. I love anything that Mark Ling does and I’ve been a happy AffiloBlueprint member for a long time.

Anyone have any opinions before I make my choice?

These days, I’ve started to make more of my money online with cost per view (CPV) traffic. CPV allows you to bid on keywords and urls, and your ads show up on pop-overs or pop-unders when visitors search for that keyword or visit the url. It’s really an excellent way to get targetted traffic for a relatively low cost (as low as 1cent per view). Other advantages of CPV are that you don’t have to deal with Quality Score issues (ala Google), and you can usually get away with direct linking campaigns.

That said, you can also lose a lot of money with CPV, as it requires big budgets and lots of testing. If you can’t afford to test, then don’t please don’t get into CPV. Anyway, one the tools you’ll need to succeed with CPV is a good url scraper. I’ve searched long and hard for a good one, but the best one I’ve tried so far are the url scrapers on Affportal.com. I decided to sign up to the site after reading this Affportal review which gives a good overview of what’s available on the site. Definitely check out their Smart URL Scraper tool which makes it extremely easy to setup your CPV campaigns. I’m having a lot of success with it, and I recommend that you guys check it out.

I’ve been looking to automate a lot of boring tasks I do everyday. Things like checking my affiliate stats, setting up your wordpress blogs, and creating Prosper 202 ads are all tasks that can easily be automated with the right tools. I’ve done a lot of research into automation tools, and here are three of them that I’ve found to be quite good.

iMacros – iMacros is a free Firefox plugin. It basically lets you record any sequence of actions you do inside of Firefox. These can be saved as macros to be played back later. This is perfect for automated simple, repetive tasks.

uBot – The UBot development environment was specifically created to make web based bots. It’s easy for non programmers to pick up, yet it is still very powerful. Can deal with captchas, proxies, and scrapes web pages with ease. You can also compile your bots to give away or sell to others.

WinAutomation – Unlike the other tools, WinAutomation can automate more than just your web browser. It can actually automate Windows itself. It has macro recording capabilities like iMacros and it also supports flow control, conditionals and loops like uBot.

Using automation tools can save you both time and money. Why buy a tool like Bookmarking Demon when you could create your own bot with UBot that can do the same thing. Anyway, check these tools out and see if you can add them into your everyday workflow.

People have been making money online with Google Adsense revenue for many years now. It is fairly easy to launch your own website or blog and slap some Adsense ads on your content. I’ve been doing this for several years now and I think I have the process down flat. In this post, I’ll describe to you what I do to launch a successful Adsense site.

The first thing to do when launching your site, is to choose what niche to be in. For a successful Adsense site, you want to choose a niche that has a decent amount of traffic, a reasonable amount of competition and the traffic has to be in demand by Adsense publishers. Your Adsense site needs to meet all these criteria before moving forward. My tools of choice for finding these candidate niche topics are Market Samurai and Keyword Elite 2. Both have handy functions that identify the keywords that are worthy of pursuing further. If you don’t want to spring for a paid tool, you can also do the same thing with the Google Keyword Tool. It’s a little more manual, but you can still get by with it.

Once you have chosen a topic, you need to create some content for it. If you are a good (and fast) writer, you should be able to write the content yourself. Usually, I write about 5 to 10 articles relevant to my chosen niche topic. Don’t make your articles too short. You want them long and full of keywords so the Adsense algorithms will show the most relevant ads. If you have problems writing, then you can try outsourcing your writing. Look on sites like Elance.com or internet marketing forums like WarriorForum or DigitalPoint. You should be able to get a decent 500 word article written for less than $10.

Usually I create my blogs with Wordpress, which makes it easy to post your content. There are several Adsense plugins for Wordpress, but the one I usually use is called Adsense Deluxe. Using a plugin makes it super easy to add your Adsnse code to each of your blog posts nearly automatically.

Once your blog is up, then you need to get traffic to your page. The best way to do this is to rank high in the search engine rankings for the keywords relevant to your page. To do that, I use a combination of article marketing, social bookmarking and blog commenting. Seeing results takes time, but its worth it once the traffic starts flowing. Once you start seeing traffic then you want to keep track of your Adsense earnings and making sure you’ve placed your ads optimally on your page. After awhile, you will find the best positioning for your adsense ads and start earning the maximum Google Adsense revenue you can.

To support my lifestyle here in China, I work as an internet marketer. What does that mean exactly? Well I make money online doing various things like pay per click marketing and building websites, mostly niche ones. For PPC, I’m currently doing a lot of Facebook advertising and CPA polls. The economics of my successful campaigns means I can support myself doing this full time, and I can work wherever I want to!

Facebook is damn challenging as they are very strict with what ads they accept. Plus to succeed with FB, you really gotta split test many variations of ads. That includes your ad copy and especially your pictures. You need to find the combination of ad copy, demographics and pictures to achieve the highest CTR. Not recommended for beginners as you can blow through your bank roll very easily.

CPA polls is a little bit easier to get into. Basically it involves coming up with a poll topic from some popular current event. The goal is to create a question that is personal and emotional that will force your visitors to vote, and eventually fill in the email or zip on an offer. CPA polls are a really good introduction to PPC as they teach you many of the aspects you need to do well as a pay per click marketer. If you want to get into CPA polls, I recommend you check out this free WP plugin called WP Easy Polls. It really makes creating polls super easy.
